16 Jun Peter and Tom’s Celebrant Ceremony
Peter grew up by the cliffs at St Agnes Head, and since meeting Tom, they have enjoyed many walks along this stretch of coastland. On discovering a field available for weddings overlooking the sea and heathland, they knew they had found their dream location and their wedding planning began.
They transformed their remote location into something quite spectacular, choosing an elegant, natural and nautical style marquee from Sperry Tents complete with festoon lighting. Tom and Peter decided on what they called an eclectic look to reflect the rambling Cornish garden, each wearing different garments, from Clifton Tailors, Ted Baker and Liberty. Some of which they already owned other items they had chosen together, making sure they complemented one another.
On the day, all their closest friends and family were gathered together to witness their celebrant ceremony, to eat excellent vegetarian food and drink great wine. A day to celebrate their love documented by wedding photographer Let Love Flourish.
It was an absolute pleasure to be a part of their day and in Tom and Peters own words…
“From our first garden centre meeting to saying goodbye after the ceremony, she imbued us with joy and enthusiasm, whilst her extensive experience as a registrar lent her a gravitas that authorised the proceedings, as joyous as they were. She also had experience with same-sex ceremonies, which was important to us.”
